On Tuesday, July 24, 2018, at 2:20 p.m., an unknown Hispanic male entered a home improvement store, located in the 6800 block of the Gulf Freeway, in Houston, Texas. The male filled a shopping cart with several high dollar power tools and then pushed the shopping cart out of the store without making any attempts to pay for them. An employee witnessed the incident and asked the male if he had a receipt, at which time the suspect lifted his shirt (displaying a handgun) and told the employee not to say anything. In one of the robberies, the Hispanic male fled in a Chevrolet Avalanche. This suspect has committed at least five known robberies to date.
