Our Safe School Institute is on a mission to keep students in the state of Texas safe. We are offering FREE preventative education and training on difficult topics such as school threats, bullying, online victimization, human trafficking, and more.

2020 has been the year of uncertainty and unforeseen challenges. From COVID-related crimes to uprisings across America, issues around safety are taking center stage. In season one, we will sit down with local and nation newsmakers as well as field experts to tackle these issues head on.

Fall Programs for All

Our Fall Programs Calendar runs through December 16 and is filled with opportunities for students, teachers, parents, and community members to engage in life-saving conversations, think critically about current crime issues and learn critical safety awareness.

A Virtual Parent’s Guide to Cyber Safety

Crime Stoppers of Houston’s Safe School Institute and Safe Community Program have joined forces to create an Interactive Virtual Cyber Safety Parent Packet. The packet is designed for parents to utilize our Cyber Safety messaging at home. With students online more than ever before, staying informed on the latest Cyber Safety trends, prevention strategies, and monitoring tools is essential.
