The victim in this case is elderly and placed a check payable to a drug company to pay a bill in the amount of $47 in her out-going mail. The victim was later contacted by her bank that the payee on the check had been changed from the drug company to Carolyn Jean Thacker and the amount changed to $756.80. The victim did not know Thacker and did not giver her permission to remove, alter or forge her check.
