On February 13, 2010, at approximately 9:00pm, Joseph Vasquez and another victim were involved in an argument with Selvin Omar Lopez at the Brompton Court Apartments located in the 1300 block of Witte Road. Lopez pulled out a gun and shot both victims. The victims were transported to a local hospital where Vasquez died as a result of his injuries. The other victim lived and recovered from his injuries.
