On Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at approximately 11:00 p.m., the body of Ms. Lakeisha Michelle Perkins was found in an abandoned warehouse in the 5900 block of Wayland, Houston, Harris County, Texas. Ms. Perkins was last seen on the afternoon of Monday, July 21, 2014 in the area of Griggs and Calhoun. An autopsy revealed that Ms. Perkins was sexually assaulted and died as a result of her injuries. Investigators with the Houston Police Department are requesting the public's assistance with this investigation. Anyone with any information regarding this case or Ms. Perkins' whereabouts prior to her death are asked to call Crime Stoppers.
