On September 30, 1991, Deputy Roxyann Allee, a Deputy Sheriff assigned to the Harris County Jail, was brutally murdered in the Greenspoint area. Witnesses saw two men force Allee into her van at approximately 7:30 PM in the parking lot of the Greenspoint mall. Her vehicle was later found after being set afire in the 1500 block of Laurel Creek. Amongst the debris, investigators found Allee?s badge, identity card and blood. Allee?s duty weapon and purse were missing. Allee?s body was later found off River Laurel Drive having sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
