Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department's Homicide Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspects responsible for a Capital Murder.

On Tuesday, July 3, 2018, the victim Jose Gomez, was shot to death in the 7000 block of McHard Road in Houston, Texas. During the incident, two unknown suspects wearing gloves and hooded sweaters approached the front door of the convenience store. One suspect entered the store, while the other held the door open and acted as a lookout. The first suspect displayed a gun and demanded money from the store clerk. Before the clerk could comply with the robber, Mr. Gomez, a second store employee, pulled out a gun. The suspect and Mr. Gomez fired at each other and Mr. Gomez was fatally injured. Both suspects fled the scene on foot into a neighborhood behind the store.
