On July 19, 1992, Flores, and two friends were involved in a fight outside of a nightclub located on the 1700 block of Hickory St. Police were called to the fight, and broke up the skirmish. Flores and her friends were walking away from the nightclub, near the 1400 block of Summer, when an unknown male suspect ran them over with a red 1985 Chevrolet pickup truck, killing Flores. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, in his early to middle thirties, approximately 5?8? tall, weighing 135 lbs. The suspect may have had a Hispanic female in the truck at the time of the offense.
