On June 11, 2016, at approximately 12:10 a.m., the female victim was lying in the road in the 2300 block of San Jacinto Street when she was struck by a vehicle traveling north bound. The suspect fled the scene without rendering aid to the complainant. A witness at the scene saw a white BMW strike the complainant. The complainant died as a result of injuries sustained during the accident.
