Robert Elliott MotleyCrime Stoppers of Houston and the Houston Police Department Vehicular Crimes Division are asking for the public's help in identifying the driver responsible for a fatal hit-and-run that claimed the life of Robert Elliott Motley.
On Saturday, June 6, 2026, at approximately 12:49 a.m., Mr. Motley was walking in the 4400 block of Emancipation Avenue in Houston when he was struck by an unknown vehicle. Rather than stopping to render aid or contact emergency services, the driver fled the scene.
Mr. Motley suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased as a result of the collision.
His family is now seeking answers and asking the community to come forward with any information that could help identify the driver responsible. Even the smallest detail could prove critical to the investigation.
