On Friday, January 2, 2026, at approximately 6:00 p.m., the victim was crossing the street from east to west in the 2900 block of Broadway Street in Houston, Texas, when struck by the suspect’s vehicle, described as a black SUV. The suspect fled the scene without rendering aid. Tragically, the victim succumbed to the severe injuries sustained in the incident.
The family of Lazaro Noa Garcia is requesting the community’s help with identifying the suspect(s) responsible for this Hit and Run – Failure to Stop and Render Aid – Fatality.
