On May 11, 2008, Police were called to investigate an attempted robbery left Sergio Cavazos Garcia Sr dead. Two armed suspects arrived at the Garcia home around in the 4500 block of Shadow Oak at 12:45 a.m. to presumably rob the victim. A man with a shotgun entered the house, while the other man, who was armed with a pistol, stayed by the front door. The victims? son tried to fight the armed suspects when Mr. Garcia and his son were both shot. Witnesses reported seeing the shooter leave in a dark colored vehicle and the other suspect left in a white vehicle. There was also reports of a third dark colored SUV in the drive way behind the shooter?s vehicle. Mr. Garcia died from his injuries. The shooter is described as 25 to 27 years old, 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall, 150-160 pounds with a thin build. The other gunman is described as between 22 and 24 years old, 5 feet 2 inches to 5 feet three inches tall with a thin build, hazel eyes and a thin mustache.
