On May 22, 2016, at approximately 2:30 a.m., the victim, Katelyn Wehrman, was walking along the street in the 10100 block of Homestead when she was struck by an unknown vehicle. The suspect driving the vehicle fled the scene without rendering aid to Ms. Wehrman. Due to the injuries sustained from the incident, Ms. Wehrman passed.
