Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department Vehicular Crimes Division need the public’s assistance identifying the suspect(s) responsible for a Hit and Run – Failure to Stop and Render Aid – Fatality.

On Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at approximately 2:31 a.m., the victim was walking in the 7400 block of the Southwest Freeway OB in Houston, Texas when struck by an unknown suspect’s vehicle. The suspect fled the scene without rendering aid to the victim. Sadly, the victim died as a result of the major injuries sustained.

The family of Frederick Steward is requesting the community’s help with identifying the suspect(s) responsible.
