On April 14, 2007 Conisha McCowan was picked up by a family member at a popular teen hangout in southwest Houston. An unknown suspect shot at the vehicle?s rear window striking Ms. McCowan. She was rushed to St. Luke?s Episcopal Hospital where she died.
