Alexander was standing outside the Poppa Burger restaurant when two people in the area began arguing. Police said Alexander did not appear to have been part of the quarrel. Someone began firing in his direction after he walked behind the restaurant. Alexander was struck in the left side of his back. He was taken to Ben Taub General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Police don?t know if the two people involved in the earlier dispute were involved in the slaying.
