N/AOn Saturday, March 8, 2008, at approximately 9:56 a.m., patrol units responded to a Person Down call at a store located in the 700 block of Crosstimbers St. in Houston, TX. Upon arrival, the officers found HFD paramedics at the scene. The 78-year old complainant, Mr. Joe Edward Moses, who was the owner of the Crosstimbers Drive Inn Store, was a victim of an apparent robbery. Shortly thereafter, two customers went to the convenience store to make a purchase and found Mr. Moses lying on the floor behind the counter. Mr. Moses was severely beaten and sustained blunt force trauma to the head. Emergency medical personnel transported Mr. Moses to Ben Taub Hospital where he later died.
