Devonte HensonCrime Stoppers of Houston and the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division are urgently seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect(s) responsible for a fatal Hit-and-Run involving Failure to Stop and Render Aid.
On Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at approximately 4:51 a.m., Devonte Henson was walking northbound in the main lanes of the 5300 block of the West Sam Houston Parkway North in Houston, Texas. A vehicle traveling in the same direction struck Mr. Henson and fled the scene without stopping to provide aid or call for help.
Mr. Henson suffered catastrophic injuries and was later pronounced deceased.
Investigators believe the suspect vehicle is a blue 2007–2012 Lexus IS250. The family of Devonte Henson is asking anyone with information—whether you witnessed the crash, saw a damaged vehicle, or know someone driving a vehicle matching this description—to come forward.
