On Sunday, October 23, 2011, at approximately 6:00 am, the body of an unidentified Hispanic male was discovered in a ditch in the 1200 block of Barkley in Houston, Texas. Personnel from the Houston Fire Department, and Officers with the Houston Police Department responded to the scene, where the unidentified male was pronounced dead. Homicide investigators were called to the scene to begin an investigation. Several nearby residents reported hearing gunshots in the area between 4:00 am ? 4:15 am. Investigators later identified the victim as 36 year old Adrian Gutierrez. Gutierrez was known to frequent the area near Airline and Crosstimbers.
