On Sunday, January 15, 2023, at approximately 1:47 a.m., the victim was shot and killed in the 5100 block of FM 1960 W. in Houston, Texas. During the incident, the victim sustained major injuries from multiple gunshot wounds resulting in their death.

The family of Zalon Carter is requesting the community's help with identifying the suspect(s) responsible for this murder.
