On Monday, July 11, 2022, at approximately 2:50 a.m., the victim was struck by a vehicle in the 23500 block of Katy Fwy. in Harris County, Texas. During the incident, the victim was assisting a disabled motorist in the emergency lane on the freeway. The victim then attempted to re-enter their vehicle when the suspect(s) struck them. The suspect(s) fled the scene without rendering aid to the victim, who died as a result of the injuries sustained during the incident.
