Zaden MoonCrime Stoppers of Houston and the Jersey Village Police Department are asking for the public's assistance in identifying the driver responsible for a fatal hit-and-run crash that claimed the life of 18-year-old Zaden Moon.
On Sunday, June 7, 2026, at approximately 3:07 a.m., Zaden fell from the bed of a pickup truck while traveling in the 16000 block of U.S. Highway 290 in Jersey Village, Texas. Moments later, an unknown vehicle struck him. Rather than stopping to render aid or contact emergency personnel, the driver fled the scene.
Zaden sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased as a result of the crash.
Now, Zaden's family is asking the community to come forward with any information that could help investigators identify the driver responsible. Even the smallest detail could be the key to providing answers for his loved ones and bringing accountability in this tragic case.
