On Monday December 14th at around 9:30 in the morning police were called to the Valero Gas Station located at 6690 W. Airport Blvd. When they arrived, they found the body of Merlene Patterson behind the car wash at the gas station. Houston Homicide Detectives launched an investigation and witnesses stated that Ms. Patterson was seen with a Black Male known as ?Mississippi? before her death. ?Mississippi? is known to hang around in the Fondren/W. Airport area.
