Maria Rosa PerezCrime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department Vehicular Crimes Division need the public’s assistance identifying the suspect(s) responsible for a Hit and Run – Failure to Stop and Render Aid – Fatality.
On Friday, February 6, 2026, at approximately 6:22 p.m., the victim was crossing in the 11200 block of Newbrook Dr. in Houston, Texas when struck by a black pickup truck. The suspect fled the scene in a westward direction of travel without rendering aid to the victim. Tragically, the victim was transported to a local hospital and succumbed to the severe injuries sustained in the incident.
The family of Maria Rosa Perez is requesting the community’s help with identifying the suspect(s) responsible for this Hit and Run – Failure to Stop and Render Aid – Fatality.
