On April 20, 2016, Harris County Precinct 4 deputy constables responded to a call of shots fired in the 20100 block of Southern Leaf Drive, in Harris County, Texas. Deputies arrived on the scene and met with a female who said her husband had been shot outside of a residence. The complainant made his way inside the residence where he collapsed. Complainant Vaughn was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The suspects were last seen wearing all black clothing and possibly fled in a large white truck.
