On October 21, 2006, Roman Reed and a few friends were involved in an altercation in the 4300 block of Wiley. A witness heard the fighting and fired a shot into the air in an attempt to stop the altercation. Several of the men then fled the scene. One man opened fire stirking Mr. Reed in the chest.
