On November 24th, 2015 , Ovidio Espinosa was walking in the right westbound lane in the 3200 block of Hopper Road in Harris County, Texas. An unknown vehicle, possibly a green or blue colored Ford or Chevrolet pickup traveling westbound on Hopper Rd. struck Espinosa. The operator of the suspect vehicle fled the scene of the crash and failed to stop and render aid to Espinosa. As a result of the injuries sustained in the crash, Ovidio Espinosa died at the scene.
