Crime Stoppers of Houston and the Houston Police Department Homicide Division are urgently seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect(s) responsible for a murder.

On or about Sunday, November 2, 2025, at approximately 1:29 a.m., Andre Corbett was shot in the 7400 block of Lavender Street in Houston, Texas. At the time of the incident, Mr. Corbett was riding inside a vehicle leaving a party.

As the victim’s vehicle passed another vehicle, the unknown suspect(s) opened fire, shooting into the vehicle and striking the occupants inside. Mr. Corbett sustained critical gunshot wounds and was transported for medical treatment, where he was later pronounced deceased.

The family of Andre Corbett is asking the community to come forward with any information that may help identify those responsible for this senseless act of violence. Someone may have witnessed the shooting, recognized the suspect vehicle, or heard information afterward that could help investigators bring justice and accountability.
