On Monday, November 3, 2014 at 4:30pm, Jose Avila?s body was discovered under a bridge in the 5100 block of Ferris drive. Students walking through a grassy easement spotted his body. The location borders both Bellaire and Houston and is just one block from Bellaire High School. Avila?s whereabouts and activities just prior to his death are unknown at this time.
