Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Vehicular Crimes Division need the public’s assistance identifying the suspect responsible for a Hit and Run – Failure to Stop and Render Aid - Fatality.


On Friday, November 3, 2017, at approximately 7:54 p.m., Stanley Roberts was walking on the 6100 block of the South Freeway. As Mr. Roberts walked on the South Freeway, a gray or silver colored vehicle struck him. The impact from the first vehicle pushed the victim into a second vehicle, which caused serious bodily injury. The suspect fled the scene without rendering aid to Stanley Roberts. As a result of the collision, the victim died at the scene.
