Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Vehicular Crimes Division need the public’s assistance identifying the suspect responsible for a Hit and Run – Failure to Stop and Render Aid.

On Wednesday, November 1, 2017, at approximately 7:17 p.m., the victim, Richard Tannerya, was walking on the 2900 block of Dunvale Road. As Mr. Tannerya walked across Dunvale Road, a dark colored SUV (possibly a Jeep Cherokee) struck him. The suspect fled the scene without rendering aid to the victim. As a result of the collision, the victim suffered serious injury to his head, pelvis, and arm. Richard Tannerya was taken to a local hospital where he later died.
