On the afternoon of May 18, 2013, at approximately 12:25 PM, fifty year old Ha Tran met the unidentified suspect at a local Pho restaurant located on the 11300 block of Veterans Memorial in North Harris County, Texas. For a brief time, Tran shared a table inside the restaurant with his unknown assailant. The suspect then stood to go to the restroom and shot Tran from behind as he returned. The suspect fled the restaurant in a black Ford Expedition with paper covering the left rear tail light.
