On Thursday, October 26, 2017, at approximately 6:24 p.m., victim Roderick Keith Shields was involved in a fatal car accident. The victim was riding his white colored Suzuki GSX1300 motorcycle in the 8000 block of Homestead Road in Harris County, Texas, when he crashed into a maroon colored Ford Expedition that pulled out of a parking lot. The driver of the Ford Expedition did not stop after crash and drove Northbound on Homestead Road towards Tidwell Road; without rendering aid to the victim. The victim was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital by HFD where he later died from his injuries. The suspected vehicle is described as a 2000 maroon colored Ford Expedition. The Ford Expedition has three missing hub caps. The suspect is described as a black male, short hair, wearing a dark colored jacket, blue jeans with holes and black and white tennis shoes.
