Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Homicide Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect(s) responsible for a Murder.

On Friday, October 3, 2025, at approximate 12:15 a.m., Houston Police officers responded to a shooting incident in the 200 block of Plaza Verde Street in Houston, Texas. Upon arrival, officers located a victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment and was later pronounced deceased from the injuries sustained.

The Houston Police Department’s Homicide Division and the family of Lavelle Bryante Ford is requesting the community's help with identifying the suspect(s) responsible for this Murder.
