N/ACrime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Vehicular Crimes Division need the public’s assistance identifying the suspect responsible for a Hit and Run – Failure to Stop and Render Aid - Fatality.
On Thursday, October 4, 2018, at approximately 6:32 p.m., the victim was ejected from a vehicle after being involved in an accident. The victim was then run over by a black pick-up truck in the 9700 block of Mesa Drive in Houston, Texas in a second collision. The victim was the front passenger of a maroon Toyota Corolla. The Corolla made a turn (east) onto Sterlingshire Street. As the Corolla turned, it was stuck by a white Chevy truck that was traveling north on Mesa Drive. The Corolla spun out of control and the victim was ejected from the vehicle. As the victim lay on the road, the victim was run over by a second vehicle (a black pick-up truck). The driver of the black pick-up fled the scene without rendering aid to the victim. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene as a result of the collision.
