On Sunday, April 15, 2012, at approximately 4:00 am, thirty-seven year old Lucinda Hernandez and her husband were stopped on the outside westbound lane of the 2000 block of West Mount Houston, in Northwest Harris County. During an argument, the victim exited the vehicle walking along the shoulder of the road. As she neared the westbound lane of traffic, a white Ford of Chevrolet, extended cab truck, stuck Hernandez. The driver failed to stop and render aid to the victim, and was last seen traveling westbound on West Mount Houston. Hernandez was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
