On Thursday, March 31, 2012, at approximately 11:30 pm, Lee Roy Alcozer was walking southbound in the right lane of Tomball Parkway in Houston, Texas. As he approached the 13800 block, an unidentified driver struck Alcozer from behind. The driver of the vehicle failed to stop and render aid, and continued southbound on the Parkway. Witnesses at the scene observed the vehicle turning west on North Houston Rosslyn. Alcozer was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Investigators determined that the vehicle is possibly a light green Ford sports utility vehicle. The suspect vehicle will have suffered front end damage to the grill and body panels.
