N/ACrime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department's Homicide Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspects responsible for a Capital Murder.
On Saturday, January 28, 2017, at approximately 1:00 a.m., victim Thomas Cox was shot as he worked inside a food truck parked in the 7700 block of Almeda Genoa Road in Houston, Texas. During this robbery, two unknown black male suspects used a pistol to shoot Mr. Cox as he was preparing to close out for the night. Both suspects fled the location in a 1995 – 2005 black vehicle similar to a Toyota Camry model, in an unknown direction of travel. After the shooting Mr. Cox was transported to a nearby hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Video surveillance cameras captured images of the suspects during the murder.
Suspect #1: Black male, mid 20’s, approximately 140-160 lbs., 5’06” - 5’08”, wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, dark colored shirt with a Nike logo on front, light colored pants, and light colored shoes.
