N/ACrime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department's Vehicular Crimes Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for Hit and Run - Fail to Stop and Render Aid - Fatality.
On Wednesday, September 21, 2016, at approximately 8:33 p.m., a 73-year old complainant, walking with the assistance of a walker, was crossing the street in the 9000 block of Airport Blvd. in Houston, TX. The complainant was hit by a green colored Nissan Titan pick-up truck traveling eastbound on Airport Blvd. The truck slowed down but did not stop after striking the complainant. The truck fled the scene traveling eastbound on Airport towards the North Freeway without rendering aid to the complainant. The suspect may have turned around and returned to the area of the crash scene, heading westbound, but still did not stop to assist the injured complainant.
The complainant was transported to Clear Lake Regional Hospital where he died from his injuries.
Vehicle Description: 2003-2015, green colored Nissan Titan pick-up, with fresh front-end damage.
Suspect Description: Older white male with glasses, 60-70 years old, heavy build with white hair, beard and mustache.
