Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department's Homicide Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for a Murder.

On Sunday, September 11, 2016, at approximately 11:15 a.m., Mr. Jose Hernandez was stabbed in the parking lot of his residence located in the 190 block of Goodson Drive in Houston, TX. During this incident, the victim was attempting to enter his vehicle after placing his child inside his truck. An unknown black male suspect approached the victim. The unknown male began to fight with the victim and stabbed the victim several times. Mr. Hernandez began yelling for help. The suspect fled the location as several witnesses ran to help. Mr. Hernandez was transported to a local hospital where he died of his injuries. Video surveillance captured images of the murder suspect running away from the location.

Suspect Description: Black, male, with a small afro, approximately 18-25 years old, 5’07-5’10, shirtless, wearing dark colored jeans, with a red shirt hanging over his shoulder.

Mr. Hernandez’s family is requesting help from the community in finding the individual responsible for this murder.
