In the early morning of September 24, 2011 Diana DeLeon was killed in a tragic accident. At approximately 1:55 AM, DeLeon was walking eastbound in the inside lane of the 2100 block of S.H. 249. DeLeon was then struck by a vehicle which fled the scene Failing to Stop and Render Aid to the victim. DeLeon died on scene as the result of injuries sustained during the accident. The suspect vehicle is described as a small black four door car. The make, model and license plate information of the vehicle remains unknown. The suspect(s) fled the scene while traveling eastbound on S.H. 249.
