Crime Stoppers and HPD Homicide Investigators are asking for the public?s help in solving the July 7th, 2010 homicide of Lavenia Yvette Glover. Ms. Glover was well known in the Liberty Road and Gregg Street area. She was often seen by various people walking around that area. On Wednesday July 7th, 2010 Lavenia Glover was seen walking with a black male who people did not recognize. The two were seen walking in the 3200 block of Newhoff Road near some abandoned houses. The male was seen a short time later without Lavenia. On July 8th several people became concerned when they did not see her in the area like they normally did so they contacted the police. Lavenia?s body was discovered in one of the abandoned houses on Newhoff. Earlier on July 7th, the black male was captured on a surveillance camera in a convenience store on Liberty.
