Connie MontezCrime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department's Homicide Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect(s) responsible for a Murder.
On Friday, September 4, 1981, at approximately 2:30 a.m., Mrs. Connie Montez was shot and killed during a robbery at a bar located in the 12200 block of Hempstead Road in Houston, Texas. During the incident, two unknown white male suspects entered the bar wielding pistols and demanded money from the register. Mrs. Montez was working as an employee of the bar and got into a struggle with one of the men during the robbery. One of the suspects shot Mrs. Montez and fled the location with the second suspect along with a large sum of money. Mrs. Montez died at the location from the gunshot wounds. There is no information leading to the identification of the two unknown white male suspects responsible for this murder.
Suspect #1: White, male, shoulder length blonde curly hair, approximately 18-25 years old, 5’09”- 5’11”.
Suspect #2: White, male, blonde hair, approximately 18-25 years old, 5’08”- 5’10”.
