On Sunday January 01, 2012, at approximately 1:30am, Gerardo Nunez was walking in the 10900 block of Stancliff Road. A car struck the 31-year old male pedestrian in the street. After the accident the driver fled from the scene and did not stop to render aid to Nunez. The victim Nunez was pronounced dead at the scene. The Hit and Run vehicle is described as a dark-colored Cadillac and is believed to be a 2003 to 2007 year model. There is no description of the driver and no license plate number for the vehicle. The Cadillac possibly sustained front-end damage as a result of the accident.
