On Wednesday September 2, 2009 Ana Moreno and two of her friends were leaving the LaPalapa Sports Bar on Aldine Westfield. A car began to follow them and opened fire in the 1000 block of West Mount Houston shooting into the car where Ana was a passenger. Ana was hit by the gunfire and died as a result of her injuries.
