Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Financial Crimes Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for a Forgery.

On Monday, May 4, 2020, an unknown black female suspect fraudulently used a forged check in the 2400 block of Smith Street in Houston, Texas. During this incident, the suspect was captured on video surveillance using a stolen check to purchase items at a business. The suspect was wearing gold rimmed sunglasses, a white shirt and blue jeans. The suspect fled the scene in a gold Cadillac SUV in an unknown direction of travel. Detectives believe the suspect is responsible for similar crimes using the same tactics, near the same area, around the same date as this incident.
