Safe Community Program
In 2013, Crime Stoppers of Houston took an aggressive approach to “preventing crime” by launching a robust, comprehensive program dedicated to crime prevention across the community. Since its inception, the Safe Community Program has educated citizens from the Greater Houston Area through in-person presentations, trainings, community events, and written material. All presentations and material are available in both English and Spanish; select written material is available in Vietnamese.
In addition to providing presentations and trainings in-house, Crime Stoppers of Houston has become a hub for other agencies working towards community safety in their respective fields including human trafficking, child abuse, domestic violence, animal cruelty and more. We are proud to be the only non-profit in Houston providing the opportunity for many different groups to collaborate to achieve our like-minded goals.
