Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department's Special Victims Division need the public's assistance locating a fugitive (Eric Mejia) who is wanted for Sexual Assault of a Child (14-17).

On Thursday, June 8, 2023, Houston Police Officers received a report of a Sexual Assault of a Child that occurred in the 3300 block of Trout St. in Houston, Texas. During the investigation, the victim made an outcry and detectives learned that Eric Mejia sexually assaulted the victim from February 1st through on or about June 6th (2023).

Eric Mejia is a 29-year-old Hispanic male, approximately 175 lbs. with brown eyes and short dark hair.
