Crime Stoppers and the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit need the public's assistance locating fugitive Curtis Cassius “Kirk” Brackens, who is wanted for Murder.

On Thursday, November 10, 2022, fugitive Curtis Brackens was involved in a Murder that took place in the 3200 block of Windmoor Dr. in Katy Texas. During the incident, detectives learned the fugitive and the deceased victim forced entry into a residence while wearing tactical gear and began firing their weapons. The complainant retrieved a firearm, returned gunfire, and successfully disabled both suspects while inside the residence. The fugitive was wounded but fled the location in an awaiting vehicle. The deceased victim sustained major gunshot wounds resulting in their death.

Curtis Cassius “Kirk” Brackens is a 23-year-old male, approximately 5'09”, 150 lbs., with brown eyes and black hair.
