Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department's Vehicular Crimes Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for Failure to Stop and Render Aid.

On Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at approximately 6:25 AM, the victim was walking in the street and was struck by a blue or black colored SUV in the 7600 block of Beechnut Street. The vehicle fled the scene without rendering aid to the victim. The suspect's vehicle can possibly be a newer model Jeep with tinted windows. The suspect's vehicle should have damage to the hood, windshield, right passenger side mirror, and the right passenger side doors. The victim was transported to Southwest Memorial Hospital and died from the injuries he sustained.
